Teaching Blog Addict is hosting Classroom Pictures Tuesday
This is our classroom library - as soon as you walk in the room. I have a book obsession!
This is a view from my desk (small room for 33 bodies). Our carpet meeting area is in the center.
This is where I teach mini-lessons and read aloud while the students are on the carpet. Actually, this is where most everything happens. I'm not a sit at your desk a lot kind of teacher. The READ signs I purchased from tchrBrowne at Teachers Pay Teachers.
A close up of the other side of our classroom library.
A closer view of our writing process, six traits, expanding vocabulary and genre bulletin boards. These I purchased from Polka Dots & Pencils at Teachers Pay Teachers.
A view of the front of the classroom. Our SMARTboard will be mounted here soon.
This is the window into the hallway decorated with student names. The awesome poster is a freebie that I found on pinterest (sorry I don't know who to credit). Here is the link if you like it http://pinterest.com/pin/262756959480521314/
Check out my animal print classroom ideas board on pinterest for more great classroom decor.
Thanks for taking the time to look around! I hope everyone has had a great start to the school year! I can't wait to tell you all about my class this year, but for now I'm exhausted. That post will come this weekend - after I catch up on sleep! Good night!
Hi, Missy, welcome to the blogging world! I love your blog and I'm going to follow you! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope to see you there again! I'd like to talk about workshop ideas...it's so hard for me! Take care...We're all in this together!
